I've been working on a small project over the past few months to measure and capture motion on sports people and their equipment. Primarily this was around validating the performance of our various teams within the Melbourne Flames dragon boat club. We soon found the data to quite amazing, and it has helped lift the performance of our boats considerably. It has removed the human side of things when it comes to "how is the boat going" (reduced the amount of arguments too!).
